GAFYD Migration Checklist
- Gmail:
- Enable POP download on GAFYD
- Add GAFYD to personal, import emails
- Remove account when all emails have transferred (may be days)
- Google Domains: give personal account full permissions on all domains held under GAFYD account
- Contacts & Calendar: export GAFYD, import to personal
- Photos:
- Share all photos between GAFYD and personal
- Set personal to take ownership of shared photos and save
- Drive:
- Share all files to personal
- Install Backup & Sync
- Download all
- Sign out of GAFYD, sign in as Personal, allow sync
- Email forwarding:
- Configure email forwarding in Google Domains
- Delete GAFYD DNS records
- Configure ‘send mail as’ in Gmail, setting as default
- Account:
- Change GAFYD address to anything (eg alice@ to alice-old@)
- myaccount.google.com, add alternative address
- GAFYD Deletion: delete the account
